Due to unforeseen equipment failure that affected Ronald McNair High school power system. The school was closed on January 30th thru February 8th, 2024.  
Funding:
The estimated penalty for not offering the required 180 instructional days is $22,407,806.  
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the submission of Form J-13A to the California Department of Education.
