Summary:

Due to new textbook adoptions, Lodi Unified School District needs to obsolete the surplus of outdated textbooks.
Textbooks may be disposed of by selling, donation, or destroyed as provided for in Education Code Sections 60510 through 60511. |

Funding:

Any revenue from the sale of obsolete instruction materials will be processed in accordance to Education Code 60510.1. |

Recommendation
|
|
It is recommended that the Board of Education declare and approve the sale, donation and/or disposal of obsolete textbooks. |
