Public Participation
The Governor has declared a State of Emergency to exist in California as a result of the threat of COVID-19 (aka the "Coronavirus"). The Governor issued Executive Order N-25-20, which directs Californians to follow public health directives including canceling large gatherings. The Executive Order also allows local legislative bodies to hold meetings via conference calls while still satisfying state transparency requirements. The Governor has also issued Executive Order N-33-20, prohibiting people from leaving their homes or places of residence except to access necessary supplies and services or to engage in specified critical infrastructure employment. The Public's health and well-being are the top priority for the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District ("District") and you are urged to take all appropriate health and safety precautions. To facilitate this process, the meeting of the Board will be available via GoToWebinar and YouTube. Modified Meeting Procedures During COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) Pandemic REGULAR BOARD MEETING, April 6, 2021 Please follow these instructions to comment on any item on this agenda; if you have a comment regarding a topic that is not listed on this Regular Meeting agenda, please sign up to speak under “Comments From The Public”: 1) Go to the Google survey titled "Board Meeting Comments" located at https://bit.ly/3bJBs7R and sign up. (Google survey will open at 5:30 p.m.) 2) Speakers will fill in name and select item they would like to comment on. 3) Register for the meeting on the GoToWebinar invitation link located at the top and bottom of the agenda. 5) Speakers should rename their GoToWebinar profile names to their real names to expedite the process. 4) When it is time for the speakers to address the Board, their name will be called and the microphone on their GoToWebinar account will be activated. 6) After the comment has been given, the microphone for the speaker’s GoToWebinar profile will be muted.
