Summary: On November 5, 2024, Resolution 2024-121, the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District authorized staff to advertise and receive bids for the work required for the Warehouse Refrigerator/Freezer Emergency Generator Project No. 5310-0000-970-23. On April 16, 2025, two (2) bids were received. The lowest and most responsive bidder was James Day Construction, Inc. dba Coastal Mountain Electric in the amount of $313,113.90, which includes a 10 percent owner-controlled contingency. Approval of this resolution certifies the Award of Contract to James Day Construction, Inc. dba Coastal Mountain Electric with the total amount to be budgeted $313,113.90.
Funding: This project will be funded with Fund 13 Cafeteria Funds (Nutrition Services).
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education adopt Resolution 2025-46.
