The Board of Education will recognize Cindy Brownell, teacher at Beckman Elementary School, and Aimee Ramsower, teacher at Beckman Elementary School, for earning the National Board certification. To earn this certification, teachers engage in a rigorous and reflective process focused on improving instructional practices. This program was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers as well as generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.
