Summary:

Construction Technology 2 CTE course of study covers a more advanced knowledge of safety, use of hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and geometry. Integrated into this are foundation standards, and other employment skills needed for the construction industry.
The textbooks for this course are "Construction Technology," Pearson Education, Inc., Publisher, 2016 and "Basic Principles for Construction," Mark Huth, author, Cengage, Publisher, 2020.
The course of study and textbook adoption were presented to and approved by Curriculum Council held on December 9, 2021. Textbooks have been on display and available for review at the District Office.
