Summary:
|
LEAs that receive Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds under the American Rescue Plan Act, referred to as ESSER III funds, are required to develop an expenditure plan for the use of these funds. The LUSD expenditure plan identifies how funds will be used, within the allowable uses of the stimulus act, to address students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs, provide for the health and safety of students and staff, as well as address the impacts of COVID on learning loss. ESSER III funding will be available for use and must be expended by September 30, 2024.
