Summary: The District is the owner of the real property located at West Vine Street in Lodi (the “Property”). The City of Lodi (“City”), has requested that the District grant an easement deed in over, under and across the Property for public roadway purposes and to construct, maintain, repair, replace, remove and operate lines for public utilities, both publicly and privately owned, together with the right to enter upon the Property to the extent that such entry may be necessary for the constructing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing and operating said access, lines or appurtenances thereto (the “Right-of-Way and Public Utility Easement”).

The public hearing is held as an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed conveyance of the Easement. After the noticed public hearing, set for July 13, 2021, and assuming there is no related protest from the public, the Board may proceed to adopt a resolution authorizing the conveyance and consummation of the Right-of-Way and Public Utility Easement Deed to City at the same meeting or at a meeting held within sixty (60) days thereafter.
Funding: There is no direct impact as a result of this public hearing.
Recommendation: No action is required by the Board following the Public Hearing.
