Summary: The school plan process commenced in August with the distribution of timelines and templates to each site. In the first phase, sites reviewed their CAASPP/SBAC and local data, completing program evaluations to assess their Title I programs. In the second phase, sites developed improvement plans based on the analyzed data to address student needs. These plans targeted areas including but not limited to: English Language Arts, Math, Science, English Learners, Parent Involvement, Professional Development, Social Emotional Learning/Behavioral & College and Career Readiness. Throughout this phase, the Educational Services Department provided guidance and feedback. The final phase involved completing additional forms that required specific information, such as School Site Council Membership, budgetary details, and signature pages. Education Services staff offered technical support during this stage. Additionally, sites designated for Additional Targeted Support & Improvement (ATSI) and Comprehensive Support & Improvement (CSI) received extra support from the Educational Support Services Department and the San Joaquin Department of Education to develop goals aimed at enhancing student outcomes.
