Summary
:
In order to ensure safe construction and to protect the investment of public funds, the Board of Education, consistent with state law, requires civil and survey, environmental, and geotechnical be employed to investigate school site conditions prior to the construction of district schools and other facilities. The District initiated the selection process by advertising a Request for Qualifications. Assignment of all projects will be based on the type of project and the strengths and qualifications of the architectural firm(s). Adoption of this Resolution will approve the firms to the List of Approved District Consultants.
Funding
:
There is no direct financial impact as a result of this Action. However, this Resolution will enable staff to proceed with contracts with the listed firms to perform specific services for specific projects. Funding for these services is part of the budgets for the projects.
