Summary:
|
Staff requests approval of Resolution 2023-81 authorizing the addition of permanent, modular student housing and other modular student facilities to the scope of the Measure U Implementation Plan for Lodi Middle School and Davis Elementary School per the intent found in Resolution 2022-22. Resolution 2018-08 design and construction work at Davis, Washington, Leroy Nichols, Vinewood, Lakewood, and Lodi Middle is proceeding. Staff, in the near future, will present an architect to Board for the design of Elkhorn's Resolution 2018-08 work.

Staff anticipates that Measure U surpluses and Board's Routine Restricted Maintenance program will cover a substantial amount of the cost of the proposed permanent, modular structures, and other modular student facilities.

Recommendation:
|
Staff recommends that the Board adopt Resolution 2023-81 and authorize the Amendment to Measure U Implementation Plan as proposed.
