Summary: On May 30, 2023, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools requested formal proposals for the procurement of furniture. Lakeshore Learning Materials was awarded the agreement on June 27, 2023. The lifespan of the contract runs through FY 23/24 with the option of two (2) additional one-year extensions (through FY 25/26). During this time, any public entity may acquire the same commodities and or services at the same price. District staff believes that it would be in the best interest of the District to piggyback off of this contract and utilize it for furniture procurement.
Funding: There is no funding associated with this adoption.
Recommendation: Staff recommends the adoption of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and Lakeshore Learning Materials agreement as a piggyback contract for Lodi Unified School District.
