Summary:
|
In order to fulfill the farm to school mandate in NSLA, funding is provided to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on an annual bases to support grants, technical assistance, and the federal administrative costs related to the USDA Farm to School Grant. Lodi Unified School District, if selected, will enter into an agreement with the federal government to carry out the project.

The USDA awards competitive grants to support farm to school programs nationwide. Lodi Unified School District, if selected, will be required to support a 25 percent match of the total project cost.
