The Board of Education will recognize Collen Guidi, teacher at Oakwood Elementary, for earning the National Board certification. To earn this certification, teachers engage in a rigorous and reflective process focused on improving instructional practices. This program was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers as well as generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.
