Summary: On February 20, 2018, Resolution 2018-08, the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District authorized staff to advertise and receive bids for the work required for the Leroy Nichols Elementary School Modernization Project No. 0927-8227-260-35. On April 2, 2025, four (4) bids were received. The lowest and most responsive bidder was Viramontes Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,749,600.00, which includes a 20 percent owner-controlled contingency, and an allowance. Approval of this resolution certifies the Award of Contract to Viramontes Construction, Inc. with the total amount to be budgeted $1,749,600.00.
Funding: This project will be funded with Fund 23 from Measure U.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education adopt Resolution 2025-42.
