Subject: (Item A-13) Settlement Agreement With LPA, Inc. for Replacement of Lift Station at Tokay High School, Measure U (Mr. Kahn)

Summary: In November 2022, LPA, design architect for the THS Measure U projects, notified the Lodi USD that the pumps included in the design for the sewage lift station for the new THS construction were insufficient. LPA offered to replace the pumps at their cost, with the District procuring and overseeing the installation. In December 2022, staff entered into an agreement with LPA to effect the changeout of the pumps. Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
Recommendation: Staff recommends that Board of Education approve the attached agreement with LPA, Inc.
