Summary:

The Lodi Unified School District is proposing a New K-8 School Site, Site I, located in Stockton, California. The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires that Lodi Unified School District (LUSD), as the Lead Agency, assess the potential for, and significance of, impacts to elements of the natural and human environment of the proposed Site I School Project.
The district prepared an Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration evaluating the environmental effects of constructing the project.
On or about February 4, 2021, the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration was circulated, posted, and advertised pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) for 30-day public review and comment.
The thirty (30) day public comment period for the Mitigated Negative Declaration ended on or about March 4, 2021.
The Board, having reviewed the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration and carefully considered its analysis and the suggested mitigation measures, hereby finds that the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration adequately analyzes all impacts that the project may have and hereby approves adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the project and concurrently adopts the mitigation measures described in the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan attached to the resolution for this project as Exhibit A.
Approval of this resolution will finalize the CEQA process for this project.
